Cliffs of Moher and Killarney, Ireland

After a wonderful first day visiting Dublin, Cong and Galway, our Paddy Wagon Tour got up early to set off for the Cliffs of Moher. We cruised down the west coast along the shore. We made a pit stop at The Burren.

Day20011Then it was off to the Cliffs where there were plenty of photo ops.

Day20007Day20004Day20005Day20010They say at any given time you can see at least five shades of green in Ireland. I think that’s a very true statement.

Day20009After visiting the Cliffs of Moher, we stopped at this wishing well on the side of the road in Clare. Day20015Day20017Legend has it, if you toss a coin over your left shoulder and it goes into the well, your wish will come true. Although it was almost 10 years ago, I still remember standing up there on that rock. I won’t tell you my wish but I believe it came true. This is a memory that I hold very near to my heart.

Here are a few more pictures of the Irish countryside as we made our way to Killarney.
