Charleston, SC

My husband and I visited Charleston several years ago – actually before we were even husband and wife or even engaged! Having visited family up north for Thanksgiving, we decided to drive back to Florida and make stops in Charleston and Savannah.

We arrived in Charleston at night and checked into the Andrew Pinckney Inn. The hotel actually consists of two buildings. We stayed at the one across the street from the lobby.

DSCN0482Overall, the rooms were clean and spacious. It even had a rooftop terrace where you can eat breakfast or enjoy the sunset. I would highly recommend this hotel. Also, the location was perfect – just a block away from Meeting and Market Street.

DSCN0518 DSCN0530 DSCN0531 The homes just ooze southern charm! DSCN0537 DSCN0545We walked along the waterfront to admire the homes there and then spent time shopping and eating/drinking! We only had one day there but I felt like it was enough for us.
