The Best Places to Skydive in the World
The Blue Hole, Belize
This one intrigues me the most – hence the reason I listed it as number one. Not only do you jump over shark-infested waters 50 miles away from land. But you skydive right into the Blue Hole where a boat awaits with your dive or snorkel gear. Yes, please! Fox Glacier, New Zealand
Fox Glacier is an 8-mile-long glacier located in Westland Tai Poutini National Park. The park is located on the West Coast of New Zealand’s South Island. Most drop zones offer views of the Tasman Sea and the snowy peaks of the Southern Alps.
Able Tasman National Park, New Zealand
Another picturesque spot in New Zealand to skydive is over Able Tasman National Park. Not only do you get to see snow peaked mountains but turquoise beaches as well. Where else can you get that kind of view?
See a birds eye view of one of the most picturesque islands in Hawaii. It’s lush greens and blue waters make it a perfect spot to jump.
Interlaken is considered one of the most scenic drop zones in all of Europe. Where else can you see views of Switzerland, Italy, France, Germany and Austria? I was fortunate to take my first jump here.
Don’t spend your hard earned money on slots! Use it on one hell of an experience and well, a show. Skydiving would be the best way to see the strip.
Dubai has hosted one of the largest international skydive championship competition. Dubai is considered a city jump but you will also see beautiful views of the Persian Gulf as well.
What a view! Icebergs, mountains, rivers, lakes and wildlife all in one jump.
Great Barrier Reef, Cairns, Australia
There are some tour companies that offer the jump, helicopter tour AND diving/snorkeling at the reef. Sign me up!
Let’s be honest, if you skydive Mount Everest, there’s no need to skydive ever again. This is the end-all-be-all of jumps. Where else are you going to get this kind of view?
