Jet lag can really put a damper on the first few days of your trip. Personally, I am more affected coming home from a trip than arriving at my destination. Consider it adrenaline or excitement but as soon as I return to my normal routine, I am a zombie for a week or two. Coming home from my trip to Asia (China, Malaysia and Singapore) was especially brutal. I wish I had seen this before I left.
