Did you ever notice notice when you are flipping through a magazine and you see an ad for a high priced item, they list the store locations at the bottom? Paris, Milan, Tokyo, New York City…and Boca Raton? South Florida has some of the best shopping opportunities that rank up there with many fashion-forward cities.
One of the most popular destinations is the Town Center Mall. You name the store and it’s there. Louis Vuitton, Kate Spade, Coach, Tiffany’s, Cartier, Henri Bendel, Torey Burch…OH MY! There are 220 stores to choose from with the main department stores as well (Sak’s, Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus). You can spend all day there if you wish. They have a variety of restaurants for lunch/dinner and even a day spa to soak your tootsies after being on your feet all day.
Mizner Park
This is an impressive area even without all of the stores. The cobblestone roads are lined with gorgeous palm trees with gorgeous fountains an even an amphitheater at the end of the park.
This is a rather upscale shopping area with several fancy restaurants to boot.
One of my favorite spots to shop for home goods is Z Gallerie.
A personal favorite spot for desserts is Sloan’s. Not only do they have ice cream but more candy than you can imagine.
Not far from where we lived was The Shops at Boca Raton.
It was rather convenient to walk to and we could have all meals within this complex as well as shop for wine and Italian delicacies. On one end of the complex is Joseph’s Classic Market where they import a lot of Italian items. On the other side is Total Wines. Picture a full fledged grocery store dedicated solely to wine. This place is my mothers mecca.
The shops are rather expensive and the restaurants can range in price. But it’s so close to the Town Center Mall that it’s a quick stop before heading back to your resting spot.
Bless your credit cards!!
